Equally renowned is his wife, Lara Lewington, a TV presenter and journalist. She used to be a weather presenter but now co-presents Click, a program on BBC. If you have sharp eyes, you could see Lara presenting the weather in the background of one of the scenes in Superman Returns.

The two had been married since 2009, with the marriage bearing a daughter they named Sapphire. Martin says he adores Sapphire so much he wanted to give her everything.
