During his childhood years, Roger Federer was already quite an athletic fellow, showing his skill in sports like badminton and basketball. Along the way, he witnessed the elegance hidden within the sport of tennis when he worked as a ball boy for a local tournament. Today, the Swiss tennis player is currently ranked 4th in men’s singles tennis, according to the Association of Tennis Professionals. He also gets credit for having won over 20 Grand Slam singles titles, the highest number in history for the sports men’s division.

His prowess at the sport is more than enough to entitle him to his current wealth, but the athlete’s income doesn’t just come from playing. Roger Federer has had a number of partnerships with big sportswear brands throughout his career, including Nike. He most recently signed with Uniqlo, a contract that was worth roughly $300 million for a total of 10 years.
