Audiences will know him best for portraying Ross Geller on the hot drama Friends, but did you know that the actor has another character who is equally as popular? Not many are aware, but David is the voice of Melman—the hilarious giraffe from the Madagascar film franchise. His decision to try other acting formats has certainly paid off. From animated characters to making his West End debut, he continues to surprise.

He also has investments in directing and producing films. This includes 10 episodes of Friends and two episodes of its spin-off, Joey. In addition, we can see him in Madagascar, Will & Grace, and The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, which won him one Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
