Critics have dismissed the actor for being a one-trick-pony given the fact that much of his career is dominated by romantic comedies. With that said, it is these movies that have helped boost, not just his reputation as one of Hollywood’s go-to male leads, but also his overall net worth. While he often plays the charismatic yet romantic guy in films, Hugh has also had his brushes with the law early in his career.

The actor’s lawyer helped get him out of assault charges made by a paparazzo back in 2007. Charges were dropped on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Some people may be out to get him, but he emerges stronger from all these adversities in life. We hope that he is doing better now. We also would love to see more of him in new roles in the coming years. Grant has always been an eye candy for every movie that he was in!
