While some people tend to poke fun at the rapper for being better known as Beyoncé’s husband, we’re sure Jay Z takes all of that in stride. After all, he is the fifth wealthiest American musician and the first hip-hop billionaire. Aside from being the founder of the top record label, Roc-A-Fella Records, and the entertainment company Roc Nation, he also owns Aspiro and is in charge of the streaming service, Tidal.

As a businessman, Jay Z certainly doesn’t fall behind either. He has investments in luxury streetwear through Rocawear and even owns a sports bar chain called 40/40 Club. You wouldn’t believe the income that he receives as both are multi-million dollar corporations. Other than his music career, his businesses have grown outrageously over the years and as he has married the one and only diva who also has a huge net worth, the power couple and their kids really have become one of the wealthiest families in the industry.
