One might think that her net worth is all due to the countless blockbusters she’s been in, but the actress also has other ventures that go beyond acting. She owns Fortis Films, a production company, as an executive producer for the George Lopez sitcom— which went on to garner a syndication deal amounting to $10 million!

She also had investments in the food business, opening Bess Bistro in Austin Texas, but eventually shuttered up in 2015 after nearly a decade in business. Though it may have been an obstacle that she had to go through, she still learned from what happened and can hopefully do better next time.
