From his humble start as a stand-up comedian and only getting support roles in films, Chris Rock has established himself as one of Hollywood’s comedy geniuses. Chris first received widespread recognition for his stint at one of the most well-known comedy programs on TV, Saturday Night Live. Along the way, he’s also had the chance to work on a few good titles, like the Madagascar films, the Grown Ups movies, Down to Earth, and The Longest Yard. He’s even received the honor of hosting the Academy Awards twice!

As further testament to his influence, he ranked fifth on Comedy Central’s poll for the greatest comedians. Aside from acting and hosting, Chris has also made investments towards the California Cannabis company, Lowell Herb Co., back in 2019. He has released five different comedy albums throughout his career and has starred in 6 stand-up specials from 1994 to 1998, all released through HBO.
