To his credit, Billy has been on over 60 shows since 1966, including recurring roles in some of the most iconic soaps, such as Dynasty and General Hospital. He has also been part of the biggest franchises in the industry, becoming the first African-American actor to be given a major part of Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars universe. Forty years later he played the same role in The Rise of Skywalker. Did you know he also played Harvey Dent in Tim Burton’s take on Batman?
In addition to films and TV works, Billy Dee Williams is also very successful in the TV advertising industry. His appearance in advertisements for Colt 45 malt liquor is impressive.
