Hailed as the “Queen of All Media,” Oprah Winfrey attained immeasurable success in the world of business and entertainment. The media magnate is now worth $3.5 billion and reportedly earns a whopping $300 million every year! We can only imagine all the investment planning she has had to work out to maintain her financial standing. However, that’s not all, Winfrey is also very fortunate when it comes to her love life.

In the mid-80s, she began a relationship with speaker and businessman Stedman Graham. Graham reportedly popped the question to the talk show host in 1992. However, the wedding ceremony never happened. While we cannot expect to hear wedding bells from them anytime soon, we think their love for each other goes beyond marriage contracts. Their 30-year romance has certainly set the standards for what we would consider “relationship goals.”

Music legend Elton John and his husband Canadian filmmaker David Furnish are probably one of the first high-profile same-sex couple to ever get married. The two have been together for a long time and they have been very open about their relationship with each other. They are always together wherever they go, from events and engagements to simple errands. They are always affectionate with each other even in public. The pair met in 1993 when the Tiny Dancer singer had just come home to Windsor, England after having been in Atlanta for a while. He wanted to socialize with the local crowd more, so he threw a party at his house. Furnish was only there to accompany an invited friend but a great relationship bloomed from then on. They apparently found electricity with one another in an instant. They had a civil partnership in 2005, which was followed by their wedding the moment same-sex marriage was legalized in 2014.

MATTHEW BRODERICK AND SARAH JESSICA PARKER – 24 YEARS

A long and lasting marriage isn’t always the usual for Hollywood, but Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker proved everyone wrong when they decided they wanted to be together forever. The couple was introduced to each other by Sarah Jessica’s brother. The first time they met was in Naked Angels theater where his theater company was based. Broderick was a good friend of Parker’s brother, so he waited a good few months before calling her. They dated for five years before finally tying the knot on May 19, 1997. More than two decades later, they now have three kids together. Their eldest, James Wilkie came in 2002, and their twins, Marion and Tabitha, came in 2009. The degree of love and dedication that they both have for each other and their family is really impressive, especially since they are both still flying high in their respective careers.

Multi-awarded movie stars Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance are not only popular for their on-screen performances. They are also the stars in each other’s hearts. The couple met at Yale while the two were earning their degrees in drama. Since then, they have become fascinated with each other and a relationship sprung from their meeting. Soon, they got married and decided to have a family. It wasn’t that easy, though, as the couple had trouble conceiving. Celebrity couple Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal have been together for more than a decade and continue to inspire people with their relationship. The two met in June 2002. Maya Rudolph has been in our favorite shows and films, making us laugh for years. Some of her notable film credits include Wine Country, Saturday Night Live, There Will Be Blood, and Boogie Nights. Her career has been taking flight all these years without a doubt, but what most don’t know is that her love life has also been blooming all this time. She has been with her partner Paul Thomas Anderson since 2001. Though the couple has been together for two decades already, they value their privacy and don’t talk about their relationship a lot in public. They do, however, make public appearances as a pair like when they walked the red carpet holding hands during the 2017 Academy Awards, where Anderson received six Oscar nominations for his film Phantom Thread. Shante and Snoop went to high school together in Long Beach Polytechnic High School. When they started dating, Snoop confessed to not have kissed Shante until after four months. The high school sweethearts are still together up until today which proves that they really are each other’s true love. Leonardo DiCaprio has been gracing movie screens for decades with his sheer talent and dashingly handsome looks. He has been known to have been with many women ever since he has set foot in Hollywood, but the movie star has seemed to finally settle down with Camila Morrone, his current girlfriend. The two celebrities were first spotted together in March 2018 when she was seen in public kissing the Titanic actor’s shoulder. Since then, the media has speculated that the two have started dating. Former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello is with singer Shawn Mendes. The much-followed pair is one of the hottest couples in Hollywood. The two are pretty public about their relationship and are very generous with what they share to their fans, especially on social media. It all started in 2014 when the two met on the Austin Mahone tour, where they both were opening acts. Talk of the two dating started when Camila released the song I Know What You Did Last Summer because she made it with Shawn on Taylor Swift’s tour. Everyone saw the electricity between the two, however, when Señorita was released in 2019. Their collaboration then confirmed that they really were seeing each other. On top of this, photos of them being very affectionate each other in public also circulated. It was September 2019 when the couple officially confirmed to the world that they were finally together.

CEO and founder of the social media giant Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has been very successful with his career. Behind him supporting his every move is his wife Priscilla Chan, who has been one of his greatest cheerleaders. The two have been together for 18 years and have been married since 2012. When they were both just in school finishing their degrees at Harvard University, they met each other in a bathroom at the Alpha Epsilon Pi party way back in 2003. Justin Bieber is one of the most popular celebrities in Hollywood. Since his every move is always followed by his die-hard fans, it was quite shocking when they found out he got married out of the blue. His wife is Hailey Baldwin-Bieber, and though they dated relatively recently, the pair have actually known each other since their pre-teen years. They met in 2009 and dated on and off before, though they were never exclusive during that time. They confirmed their relationship in 2016 after the duo spent Christmas and New Year together with their families. However, it wasn’t until June 2018 when their relationship changed by a significant degree. They started dating exclusively and were engaged within a month. Hailey’s ring was even featured on the cover of Vogue Mexico. On September of the same year, they finally tied the knot and moved in together. They are still going strong today.

JAY LENO AND MAVIS ELIZABETH NICHOLSON-LENO – 40 YEARS

Jay Leno has been making people laugh for years. Back at home, his heart has been always full as he had his wife Mavis with him all the time. They have been together for a total of four decades. The former Tonight Show host has said in his interviews that it’s just impossible not to have learned anything from that journey. He said being faithful and loyal is obviously key to staying together. He also mentioned on a more serious note that one should marry someone that they could credit as their conscience. If your partner is someone you wished you could be yourself, then that could be something worthwhile. He said that because he has been in a long-lasting relationship that many consider successful, he has always been someone his friends would go up to for relationship advice. He would do his best to shed some light on them, of course.

Certified A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are a couple hailed as one of Hollywood’s royalties. They both have been very successful individually in their careers, but they still make time for their family. They met on the set of Green Lantern and became friends after filming. They decided to go on a double date, wherein Lively brought her date and Reynolds also brought his date. That was when they realized that there was electricity between them. They got married in September 2012 and have since had three daughters together. James was born in 2015, Inez was born in 2016, and their third baby, Betty, was born in 2019. All three kids’ names were featured in Taylor Swift’s album Folklore. The couple is very dedicated to their family. When one of them is filming, the other brings the kids and makes sure they are together as much as possible.

MATT DAMON AND LUCIANA BARROSO – 16 YEARS

Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon has been living a great life with Luciana Barroso, his wife who is out of the spotlight. The two met in 2003 when the actor was already a big star and his future wife was working as a bartender. Just like in a movie, she helped him hide from all of the paparazzi and fans outside waiting for him to come out. Damon was working on Stuck on You at the time so his success was really starting to rise to a significant degree. The two fell in love and dated for two years before they got married in 2005 at the Manhattan City Hall. The private wedding hinted how their married life would be. Movie star Eddie Murphy has been known as one of the men in Hollywood who has been in many relationships and has had many children too. His current girlfriend is actress and model Paige Butcher and they have been together for quite a while. They met on the set of Big Momma’s House 2, while Eddie was visiting his friend Martin Lawrence. He started talking to Butcher and they soon started dating around 2012. She and Murphy had their first child together in 2016. This was already the actor’s 9th child, and they welcomed another child a few years later. Surely, he has a lot in his bank account that the future of the kids is secure. Student loans should be far from their minds. Though Murphy is notorious for his dating and marriage history, we are hoping that he has finally found the one. He and Butcher have been going steady for several years now, so that’s a good sign.

Samuel L. Jackson And LaTanya Richardson Jackson – 40 years

Known popularly as Nick Fury, the iconic Samuel L. Jackson has been with LaTanya Richardson for 50 years and married to her for 40. They met when they were in college in 1970 and later tied the knot in 1980. At this time, Jackson was only starting his career and would soon meet director Spike Lee, who would cast him in a minor role for the movie School Daze.
As such, LaTanya has been given credit as a solid anchor for the actor when he was just building his career. When asked about how her marriage to the actor is, LaTanya would always say it was a ride. It was not smooth-sailing, and it definitely had bumps along the way, but according to both of them, they just persevered, even at the lowest point of their lives. Jackson revealed that he would always put his family first, including their child, Zoe Jackson.

Dwyane Wade And Gabrielle Union – 7 years

What could be the secret behind Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s successful marriage? While the two have not been married that long, they have been seen as a power couple for ages. Wade is still adjusting to life after basketball, while Union has been very supportive of the former NBA star. The two have a strong relationship. They are close, but they also have their own individual lives. Union has her own bank account and own ways of generating money, as does Wade.
Union stressed in an interview that she wanted people to know that he worked hard for her money and that at one point, she had student loans to pay off but was able to pay it off through hard work and not because of a rich husband. SIDNEY POITIER AND JOANNA SHIMKUS – 45 YEARS

Former ambassador and actor Sidney Poitier seems like he had a good life. That was not the case, though, when he was growing up. Born in the Bahamas, Sidney had it rough. Their family did not even have electricity nor running water, and at 15 years old, his mother gave him $3 and shipped him to Florida to live with an older brother. At this point, he took on jobs to survive. He met his first love, Juanita Hardy, but their relationship fell after 15 years of marriage.

Eventually, he met Joanna Shimkus. On January 23, 1976, they took their marriage vows and had been together ever since. During this time, Sidney was already at the height of his career, while Joanna appeared in a few movies, with her career mostly ending in the early 1970s. The two are now retired and focused on their children and grandchildren, who love having them around.

ANTHONY ANDERSON AND ALVINA STEWART – 21 YEARS

Playing Detective Kevin Bernard on Law & Order, Anthony Anderson is a well-respected actor and game show host. He has been married to Alvina Stewart, who has also made appearances on various TV shows. The couple had been married since 1999 and was blessed with two children. While their relationship might be one of the longest in Hollywood, it has not always been easy for the two.

In 2015, it looked like they were going to separate permanently as their relationship was on the rocks. They tried working it out together first, and in 2017, Alvina asked her lawyers to have the separation request retracted. The judge obliged, and the love birds are now as strong as ever. Lee Majors had a successful TV career more than anything as he took various roles on several TV series, including The Fall Guy and The Six Million Dollar Man. He was equally prolific in marriage, having tied the knot with four women. It was his last one, though, with Faith Cross Majors that lasted. Faith was a popular actress, known for The Movie, Me and Lee and Corruption.Gov. They were married on November 1, 2002, and are still together today.

The actor attributes the failure of his previous marriages to having no time, but now, he has all the time in the world as he has mostly retired from making films. He and Faith have been together for more than 23 years, having been married for 18 of those years. He even joked that this is a record for Hollywood, and to a certain degree, he is right.

TINA TURNER AND ERWIN BACH – 7 YEARS

One common struggle of successful women is that when they get married, they are often seen as a shadow of their husbands. Tina Turner was afraid that would happen, but thankfully enough, her husband, German music producer Erwin Bach said that he would not allow the singer’s light to be dimmed. He would, instead, extend all support. As we know, Tina is a very successful singer, actress, and dancer who has sold more than 100 million records. The two met in 1985, but it was not until 2013 that they got married as the singer was still recovering from her previous marriage.

In a book authored by Tina, she shared how her husband has allowed her to shine and how to love without giving up who she is. They have space and freedom to do their own hobbies, and they also have shared activities. This arrangement is what she credits as the reason why their marriage has been healthy despite the many obstacles. Well, that agreement looks like a best practice!

SERENA WILLIAMS AND ALEXIS KERRY OHANIAN – 3 YEARS

If you do not believe in serendipity, think again. Serena Williams and Alexis Kerry Ohanian did not know each other when they were at a hotel in Rome back in 2015. It was a chance encounter that led to one of the most amazing love stories in the world of sports and techpreneurship. Serena is famous among tennis fans because she has held the top spot for a long time and has accumulated 23 title wins. On the other hand, her husband, Alexis, is a significant figure in the tech world, having co-founded Reddit.

They are both at the top of their careers and have a lot in common, so it was not a surprise when they said their vows in 2017, right after they welcomed their child, Alexis Jr. Now, Alexis has made himself a tennis fan and is always present on tours, cheering for his champion wife. Maybe we can credit Alexis for being her lucky charm?

JOY REID AND JASON REID – 23 YEARS

Joy Reid has been a political commentator and a national correspondent for MSNBC. It was also announced that she would host The ReidOut, a new weeknight show slated to start by March 2021. Her husband of 23 years, Jason Reid, is a writer and editor who went straight to this career right after graduating from college and worked for NBC News.

It is likely that the two met in one of the gatherings for journalists or writers, but very little is known about their love story. The couple faced some challenges when Joy’s previous blog posts from “Reid Report” were reproduced. It had content that was considered defamatory to the LGBT community. The TV personality had since apologized and owned up, which was noble of her to do. Jason stood by her, as did MSNBC. It appears that their love and investment for each other of 23 years could not be rocked by the most difficult of hardships.

LISA BONET AND JASON MOMOA – 14 YEARS

When we were kids, we all wanted to marry the first person we had a crush on. That seldom happens, but for Aquaman star Jason Momoa, it did come true. Interestingly enough, he first saw Lisa Bonet on TV as Denise Huxtable from The Cosby Show. The degree of infatuation he felt was exhilarating the moment he saw her on the tube. Decades after, in October 2017, Jason and Lisa would marry each other. Two kids later, he would reveal that secret to the actress.

The former Cosby star was married to someone else at first, but it is this marriage with Jason that really made her happy. When mutual friends introduced them at a New York jazz club, the two hit it off right away. Jason even had his hair in dreadlocks in preparation for the meeting. He convinced Lisa to take her home, but before that, they stopped for coffee and ate grits. Is it not a story worthy of a romantic comedy movie?

MARIE OSMOND AND STEVE CRAIG – 12 YEARS

What could be better than being married to the love of your life? Well, marrying him twice, that is. Yes. Such was the case between Steve Craig and Marie Osmond. The two had been married for a total of 12 years, but they had been together for more than that, having met each other in the 1980s. Their first marriage lasted three years, from 1982 to 1985, but sadly, they had to get their separation processed.

Marie prioritized her career and making investments from 1985 onwards. Fate, however, wanted them back together, and they got reconnected through their son. They kept their romantic relationship a secret from the public for the first two years, but in 2011, the two decided they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other. They were wary of getting married again, but seeing that their second chance worked out, they took the plunge.

With a career spanning four decades, Kevin Costner certainly has experienced many challenging roles. His career peak was in the 1980s and 1990s, where he starred in blockbusters like JFK, Waterworld, and The Postman. Kevin married his second wife, Christine Baumgartner, a model and handbag designer. They had a rather engaging love story, as they met a decade before they got married in 2004. We know that LeBron James is an NBA legend, but what most do not know is that the big man can also be romantic. The two were basically high school sweethearts, and their first date was a dinner at the Outback Steakhouse. Both were from Akron, Ohio, so most likely, they felt an instant connection, and they never let go.

The two got married on September 14, 2013, and after seven years of being together, they now have three children. The mother of the three, Savannah Brinson, is relatively unknown prior to marrying LeBron, but she gained prominence right after. She was a football player and a cheerleader but has since then focused on managing their household, taking care of daily matters, including paying the family’s water and electricity bills. LeBron, meanwhile, continues to handle his business interests, including the trademark filing for “Taco Tuesday” for a range of media and entertainment services.

MARK HARMON AND PAMELA DAWBER – 33 YEARS

In 1986, Mark Harmon was named “The Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine. This is just one of the many accolades received by the football player-turned-actor. In the 1990s, he played the character of Secret Service Agent Simon Donovan in the series The West Wing. Continuing that streak, he also stars as an NCIS special agent on NCIS, a role he had since 2003.

Mark married fellow actress Pamela Dawber in 1987, and they had two children together. His wife is known for her roles in My Sister Sam and Mork and Mindy. These two have been very private about their married life, and we can only assume they also have the latest home security system installed at home. What they are not afraid to share, however, is that they married in their 30s after being done doing “stupid” stuff. In a nutshell, the two are saying that maturity is one key to a long-lasting relationship.

MARTIN LEWIS AND LARA LEWINGTON – 11 YEARS

The name Martin Lewis is quite famous among financial advisors in the UK as he is the person behind the website moneysavingexpert.com. He also appears on TV to give our financial tips. Equally renowned is his wife, Lara Lewington, a TV presenter and journalist. She used to be a weather presenter but now co-presents Click, a program on BBC. If you have sharp eyes, you could see Lara presenting the weather in the background of one of the scenes in Superman Returns.

The two had been married since 2009, with the marriage bearing a daughter they named Sapphire. Martin says he adores Sapphire so much he wanted to give her everything. At the same time, however, he would also show love to his wife. He does a careful balancing act of finishing work at 6 in the evening to make sure he has time for the family.

MEGAN RAPINOE AND SUZANNE BRIGIT BIRD – 4 YEARS

Sports couple Megan Rapinoe and Suzanne Bird are rather famous for being the first LGBT pair that was featured on the cover of ESPN’s The Body Issue. Megan is a soccer player who is a member of the US national team. She has won gold in several tournaments, including the 2012 London Summer Olympics and the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Megan and Suzanne met in one of the press events during the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, sparking their love for each other.

Suzanne has been with the Seattle Storm of the Women’s National Basketball Association since being drafted in 2002. The two had been together for four years, supporting each other every time they had games. In one instance, Suzanne cheered for Rapinoe during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The two are also planning to take it to the next level after they announced their engagement on Instagram back in October 2020. Given the degree of love they had been showing each other, we know this will be a successful marriage.

Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross have been dating each other since 2014. Rosalind, who’s currently 30, is 35 years younger than the Passion of the Christ star, who recently turned 65. Interestingly, the pair met when Rosalind was signed to be a co-writer for a script for Mel’s production company. Rosalind and Mel immediately fell for each other, and they both deserve credit for not letting age determine the outcome of their relationship!

The couple has received backlash throughout the past few years for their wide age gap. Those negative remarks won’t subside anytime soon, especially that Rosalind and Mel have yet to make it official and tie the knot. Mel previously said that he’s not letting age become a deciding factor in his relationship with her and that Rosalind “is a really special person.” In 2017, they welcomed their first child together, cementing their status as a loving couple.

Michael Jordan first met Yvette Prieto in 2007 at a club in Miami. You could tell that the pair instantly connected with each other as they started dating shortly after. Michael and Yvette decided to take things up to the next level after they moved in with each other in 2009. They went on to exclusively date each other for over four years, and in those four years, their relationship drew criticism from fans. For Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith, they managed to sustain their loving marriage for an astounding 25 years! Pierce and Keely Shaye first met each other while she was working in Cabo in 1994. They certainly felt a connection and immediately dated each other for seven years until they tied the knot in 2001. Since then, they’ve welcomed two sons together, and the four of them make an incredibly adorable family!
Pierce is known for being a Hollywood heartthrob, and it certainly didn’t help when he received the acting credit for James Bond, a character known to be a notorious ladies’ man.
