ELTON JOHN AND DAVID FURNISH

The multi-talented Elton “The Rocket Man” John is one of the best selling music artists in the world. He met Canadian filmmaker, and husband Davis Furnish in 1993, at a party in Windsor. They reportedly fancied each other instantaneously and, 12 years later, the Rocket Man proposed.

Indeed, in 2005, they made history by being one of the first LGBTQ couples in the U.K. to have a civil partnership. Of course, when same-sex marriage became legal in the U.K. nine years later, they tied the knot, and seem to have been making investments and living the dream ever since.
